A boy named Eragon finds a polished blue stone in the forest. At first, he thinks it's a lucky discovery, something that will bring meat to his poor family for the winter. Instead, it brings a dragon hatchling, and Eragon is soon thrust into a world of magic and power through which he and the dragon must navigate.

| you left way to much out and almost everybody i know would agree i would much rather have a movie that tells you everything like lord of the rings did then have it so short that you don't get to feel the greatness of the true story |

| they need to finish the story the first movie was great. on the back of the movie a trilogy story of adventure. if what a friend told me is true and they scraped the project that bs and weak. |
